Bring Change to Mind’s Revels & Revelations Proves Laugher Truly is Some of the Best Medicine

THE CHALLENGE:

Fundraising for a new audience & attracting new talent 

Bring Change to Mind’s Revels & Revelations gala was well-known for its star power and entertaining format. The organization wanted to keep that reputation but needed to inject more of its mission-related work into the programming to better connect the audience to the cause. Additionally, the event moved from New York City to San Francisco, making it harder to secure celebrity participants.

The Robin Williams Legacy Of Laughter Award

Artemis knew that BC2M needed a fresh “hook” to entice artists to donate their time and talent to the event. Working in partnership with BC2M’s Board of Directors, Artemis created the Robin WIlliams Legacy of Laughter Award, in honor of a San Francisco legend who lost his life to mental illness. Using the award as the annual anchor, Artemis built an engaging, star-studded program that can be easily refreshed for returning audiences, and exciting and moving for new supporters.
