SINGLETON HELPS AMERICANS MAKE HEADS OR TAILS OF PANDEMIC BUDGETING
THE CHALLENGE:
MANAGING THE FINANCIAL EFFECTS OF THE PANDEMIC
The COVID-19 pandemic occurred one month before the Singleton Foundation’s much- anticipated launch of its media channel, Million Stories. As people across the country were seeking unemployment benefits and tapping into their emergency savings (if they even had any!), the Foundation realized an urgent need to educate on surviving a possible financial crisis.
THE SOLUTION:
DIGITAL SERIES TEACHES MONEY MANAGEMENT DURING UNCERTAIN TIME
Artemis acted quickly to conceptualize a social series that addressed people’s questions about money, employment and healthcare. Artemis worked with the foundation’s production company to create the “Heads or Tails” format and secured the host and a set of experts to address the series’ key issue areas.
Results:
1M+ views of “Heads or Tails” episodes in one month
Varied influencers educated viewers & drew attention to the foundation:
Joey Sasso of Netflix’s The Circle hosted the show, allowing Heads or Tails to repeatedly reach his 650k+ followers.
Johnny Taylor, CEO of the Society for Human Resource Management, as employment expert
Dr. Mike Varshavski, doctor and internet personality, as medical expert
